HRTS
NRL's High Resolution Telescope and Spectrograph (HRTS) is a high-powered telescope that sees in the ultraviolet and has the ability to zoom in on very small features on the surface of the sun.
Since its first flight in 1975, HRTS has recorded high-quality ultraviolet spectra of
the Sun on 10 rocket flights and during extended operations on the space shuttle Spacelab 2 mission in 1985.
