Electrical Engineer (Signal Processing) - The position is responsible for the research and development of state-of-the- art electronic support (ES) techniques and technologies, with primary emphasis ondigital and signal processing methods and RF engineering. These advanced digital signal processing techniques will be used to advance the state-of-the-art in ES system capabilities. The position is also responsible for exploring the possibility of incorporating advanced microelectronic components, such as field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) into the design of advanced ES systems - for the purpose of rapid prototyping, testing, and demonstration. The position must be capable of evaluating ES system designs and architectures, and be able to perform analysis of both laboratory and field test data. The technical accomplishments and results of the incumbent’s research program will be documented in engineering memoranda or formal reports.
Requirements: BS/MS EE – Digital Design, VHDL, DSP, C/C++, Signal Integrity
This position requires demonstrated experience in the applied research and development of ES techniques and technologies, with emphasis on advanced digital signal processing methods.
