Systems Analysis Section (Code 5753)

The Systems Analysis Section develops and applies high fidelity models to understand the interactions between anti-ship threat missiles, Navy ships, and countermeasures. Studies are conducted with high quality representations of the maritime propagation and clutter environments experienced over a full range of environmental conditions. The models are developed and applied to cover the EO, the IR, and the RF spectrums

Modern supercomputer processing power is applied by Advanced Techniques Branch staff to perform studies with high fidelity models of ships, threat missiles and countermeasures under a full range of simulated environmental conditions.
