Flight Support Operations Section (Code 5763)

The focus of the Flight Support Operations Section is to carry out science and technology activities related to the study, analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of Naval defensive EW systems. This work involves the development of new and enhancement of existing hardware and software simulation capabilities to emulate both modern and technologically feasible ASM threats, as well as the conduct of laboratory, land-based and at-sea experiments using this advanced simulation technology. The Section maintains, updates and operates a variety of flyable ASM simulators to support the RDT&E of Navy EW systems and techniques.
