Episode 7 – Women’s History Month: Reviewing a Chat with Dr. Isabella Karle
In honor of Women’s History Month, we at NRL would like to recognize one of our most distinguished alum, Dr. Isabella Karle. In a past interview, Dr. Melissa Flagg, senior executive at the Defense Department for research, talked with Dr. Karle about her time at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, the Nobel Prize, and her experience as one of the few women working on the Manhattan Project. And yes, there are frog toxins. Enjoy!
This is a re-release of Episode 5 – History of women in science: Dr. Isabella Karle and pocket plutonium.
