The collage shows images of the Waddell Creek Experiment. Personnel from Moss Landing Marine Laboratory operated the RV Martin off Waddell Creek. Equipment was mounted on the RV Martin allowing in situ measurements of meteorological conditions and aerosol size distributions. NRL Eye-safe Volume Imaging Lidar (NEVIL) was operated from bluffs above Waddell creek, mapped the aerosol structures and measured winds and turbulence. The background photograph was taken from the RV Martin and show the white capping conditions which were typical during the experiment. The lidar scan shows a multi-kilometer plume being produced by Ano Nuevo Island.
