What is CyberWeek?

NRL CyberWeek is a week-long classroom based program focused on providing students grades 7-12 an introduction to cybersecurity principles. Through exploring various topics ranging from password protection to cyber policy and phishing, students are able to develop cyber hygiene skills and prevention tactics to implement in their everyday technology consumption. In addition, each CyberWeek is accompanied by a Career Development Q&A panel in which students are able to speak to diverse groups of Department of Defense (DoD) STEM professionals and receive valuable information on annual internship and scholarship opportunities.

Who is CyberWeek for and how do I get involved?

NRL CyberWeek is geared towards students’ grades 7-12. In addition, teachers and parents are welcome to attend.

If you are interested in bringing a CyberWeek program to your school, please contact NRL Corporate Communications at (202) 480-3746 or nrlpao@nrl.navy.mil
