MONTEREY, Calif - Dr. James Campbell, a meteorologist at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, California, is leading a team of scientists researching cirrus clouds via a project termed, Radiative Effects of Thin Cirrus (REThinC). “REThinC is about engaging the atmospheric sciences community and drawing attention back toward basic physical questions that have yet to be really addressed,” Campbell said.
