WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) hosted Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, USD(AT&L), Frank Kendall, at its Washington D.C., headquarters, Feb. 25, to award three top NRL researchers for significant acquisition accomplishments, and name nine others to the department’s Laboratory University Collaboration Initiative (LUCI) Fellows program. Kendall is the leader in the effort to increase the buying power of the Department of Defense (DoD) and improve the performance of the defense acquisition enterprise.
