WASHINGTON, D.C. - At NRL’s Laboratory for Autonomous Systems Research (LASR), students were shown some of the game-changing technologies developed at NRL such as artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms used in autonomous vehicles, GPS, satellites, and space robotics. The students visited the lab as participants in the National Lab Day, initiated by the White House to connect young people with national laboratories across the country and build on efforts to increase student exposure to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and entrepreneurship programs.
