WASHINGTON, D.C. - Local students from Ballou High School, Hart Middle School, and Leckie and Patterson Elementary Schools were welcomed to the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to participate in the White House initiated National Day at the Lab. The White House launched the event in conjunction with the White House Council on Women and Girls (CWG) and My Brother's Keeper (MBK) initiatives to inspire young people's interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
