WASHINGTON - The duplexer circuit made possible a more compact transmit/receive antenna capable of being mounted for shipboard service. An antenna similar to this was installed aboard the Navy destroyer, USS Leary (DD-158), for sea trial tests. (c. 1937) U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, D.C.
