WASHINGTON, D.C. - Naval Flight students participating in a joint U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) and Naval Aerospace Medical Institute (NAMI) experiment in March 5, 2020. Data is collected for NRL research several times a week at NAMI’s Operational Psychology Laboratory located on Naval Air Station Pensacola. The Warfighter Applied Cognition Technology section at NRL and the Operational Psychology Department at NAMI collect data from over a thousand Sailors each year. The research is focused on collecting cognitive, behavioral, and psychophysiological data with a goal of improving selection, classification, training, and human-computer interaction.
