WASHINGTON - A Forward Deployable Preventive Medicine Unit (FDPMU) operator prepares sample for sequencing during a scenario at Beholders Gaze held at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Oahu, Hawaii, Oct. 28, 2024. Image shows a laboratory trained Navy corpsman using methods initially developed under Far-Forward Advanced Sequencing Technology (F-FAST) for a mobile laboratory environment to prepare an air filter sample.
