Eligibility & Qualifications:
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and meet minimum qualification standards as described in OPM’s operating manual, “Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions”; possess a Master’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university in a field of scientific or engineering study directly related to the position for which applying; and meet any selective placement factor identified for the position to be filled.

Interested achievers with a Master’s or higher degree in Aerospace, Ceramics, Chemical, Computer, Electrical/Electronics, Materials, Mechanical, and Nuclear Engineering, Astronomy, Biology, Computer Science, Eng Materials Science, Metallurgy, Physics, Physical Science, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics, Meteorology, and Ocean are encouraged to apply.

Salary is set commensurate with selectee’s background, experience, and market considerations. The Naval Research Laboratory is under an approved Personnel Demonstration Project.
